Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend and every other holiday.

\n\nJob Description\n

The Travel Med Surg RN will provide general medical administration of medications and care, including remote telemonitoring with a monitor tech overview. This role includes post-operative patient care and may involve floating to Med Surg Tele as needed.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Administer medications and manage patient care in a Med Surg environment.
\n
• Monitor patients remotely and collaborate with a monitor tech.
\n
• Provide care to post-operative surgical patients.
\n
• May float to Med Surg Tele with a patient ratio of 1:6, with a maximum surge plan of 1:7.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• 1-2+ years of Med Surg experience required.
\n
• 1+ year of recent travel experience required.
\n
• BLS certification required.
\n
• Experience in Telemetry is essential.
\n
• Cerner experience preferred.
\n
