\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Medical Progressive Care Unit. This role requires a strong focus on cardiac patients, including those with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and arrhythmias, as well as secondary respiratory issues. The nurse will provide high-quality care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Administer medications, including cardiac and vasoactive drips, ensuring safe management without titration.
\n
• Monitor and manage patients via telemetry and remote cardiac monitoring.
\n
• Perform pre and post cardiac catheterization care and management.
\n
• Provide care for patients with chest tubes, external CPAP/BIPAP, and tracheostomy care.
\n
• Participate in rapid response teams and emergency care as needed.
\n
• Utilize strong critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiac PCU.
\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NIHSS is preferred.
\n
• Experience with cardiac drips, dysrhythmia management, and telemetry preferred.
\n
• Charge RN experience is preferred but not mandatory.
\n
