Summary

The Ash Group is hiring an organized Project Coordinator for our client ( a major electricity and natural gas utility provider ) based hybrid in St. Paul, MN .

This role is heavily focused on the financial and billing aspects of project support, handling high-volume, repetitive billing work and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation. You must have strong proficiency in SAP for managing work orders and Purchase Orders (POs) and be expert in Microsoft Excel for daily operations.

Role Details

• Compensation: Competitive pay rate of $35 per hour.
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.
• Duration: 12-month contract with a potential opportunity to convert to a full-time position.
• Location: Hybrid in St. Paul, MN (onsite Tuesday to Thursday, remote Monday and Friday).

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform high-volume billing and financial coordination tasks daily, including up to 100 financial entries depending on the workload.
• Research and resolve errors related to work orders and Purchase Orders (POs) within the SAP system.
• Conduct consistent communication and follow-up with Project Managers (PMs) , job runners, and coordinators to resolve PO and work order issues.
• Participate in weekly vendor meetings and manage resolution communications across multiple internal stakeholders.
• Utilize strong soft skills to influence and collaborate with various internal teams without direct authority to ensure timely and accurate billing.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience with work order and Purchase Order (PO) processing through SAP .
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets) and the full Microsoft 365 Office suite.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for daily interaction and issue resolution.
• Prior experience with work order creation in SAP and customer service experience, dealing with people on a day-to-day basis, is highly valued.
• Familiarity with Power BI within the Microsoft ecosystem is a plus.
