Education: Associate's degree in Business Administration, Office Technology, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in office administration, clerical support, or data entry roles.
Prior experience supporting military or government organizations is highly desirable.
Experience working with Navy systems such as Risk Management Information (RMI-SIR) or other DoD incident reporting platforms is a strong plus.
Skills: - Expertise with Microsoft Office Products and Adobe.
- Excel: Data entry, tables, formatting, basic formulas
- Word: Document preparation, formatting
- Access: Basic database interaction
- PowerPoint: Creating/editing presentations
Responsibilities: - Primary tasks focus on obtaining data from Microsoft Office programs and applications (to include Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint) and uploading data to the Naval Safety Risk Management Information (RMI) computer-based program/application.
- Obtain data from various sources and execute input to the Navy Risk Management Information-Streamlined Incident
- Reporting (RMI-SIR) system program of record (POR) in alignment and compliance with Naval Safety Program requirements.
- Use Microsoft (MS) products (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and other written documents (Adobe PDF, Naval Message traffic) to obtain data for uploading into RMI.
- Interpret and respond to information transmitted through computer systems, which requires knowledge of functions and features of computer systems and related skills.
- Prepare, receive, review, and verify documents; maintain office records (both digital and physical); locateand compile data or information from files; compile information for reports; keep a calendar and inform others of deadlines and other
- important dates; and similar clerical support work.
- Use computers or related data processing technology to perform routine clerical work (e.g., writing, filing, and maintaining documents) where the primary purpose is to provide general office clerical support.
- Review and redact documents to remove sensitive or otherwise unnecessary information to improve relevance and intent of reports/documents. Evaluate alternative perspectives/solutions; provide timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions.
- Convey written information in a clear, concise, and organized manner for the intended audience,using correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Express thoughts persuasively and use effective modes including formal and conversational styles to reinforce message retention and understanding.
- Work directly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Force Safety Office personnel, safety specialists, safety schools/training centers in the analysis and evaluation of findings and requirements for further study.
- Assist in the development of appropriate changes to doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership, personnel, and facilities based on derived data to include Lessons Learned.
- Conduct basic analysis of information and internally generated products from safety assessments, hazardreports, and other safety and risk management information to assist in developing safety awareness products, and make recommendations for improvements or provide input for solutions to be implemented.
- Collect and analyze safety mishap, hazard, assessment, and inspection information to assist in developing safety awareness products.
- Conduct regular review of RMI-SIR and SRCP data, and other source data, making comparisons in validating and
- verifying correctness and veracity of information to derive actionable insights.
- Generate reports and data-supported assessments to optimize strategies for greater impact and alignment with CNSP,
- CNSL and SURFOR objectives.
- Utilize reports and assessments to refine content for enhanced effectiveness.
- Attend meetings, briefings or training sessions with Force Safety personnel to discuss potential program and process improvements, revisions, policy or other changes needing to be made.
- Ensure strict adherence to Navy directives, security protocols, and confidentiality standards in all efforts.
- Safeguard the integrity and credibility of CNSP's and CNSL's online presence by maintaining compliance with
- established guidelines and policies.
- Collaborative Coordination
The Contractor shall:
- Foster collaborative relationships across departments to maintain consistent branding and messaging throughout all
- RMI-SIR, SRCP and Force Safety platforms.
- Stay informed about emerging technology, industry trends, and best practices to continually optimize strategies.
