Your expertise in various techniques, including hair extensions, color theory, and barbering, will be essential in creating beautiful looks tailored to each client's needs. *Responsibilities* * Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and treatments. * Perform specialized techniques such as hair extensions, threading, and straight razor cuts. * Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management. * Maintain sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. * Offer excellent customer service by understanding client preferences and providing tailored recommendations. * Engage in retail sales by upselling products that enhance clients' hair care routines. * Assist with front desk duties as needed, including greeting clients and managing appointments. * Mentor junior stylists or interns to foster skill development within the team. * Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, makeup application, and nail care. *Qualifications* * Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required. * Proficient in various hair styling techniques and color theory. * Experience with salon software systems; familiarity with MINDBODY is a plus. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. * Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships. * Knowledge of retail math to assist with sales strategies and inventory management. * Previous experience in store management or mentoring is advantageous. * A passion for beauty trends including eyelash extensions and makeup application is preferred.
