Job Requirements: Key Duties and Responsibilities
Safely operate high reach forklifts to put away palletized units into rack locations above floor level. Pick palletized units from high rack locations and stage them for outbound shipments. Accurately select and record materials, weights, counts, and condition of food items using the Radio Frequency (RF) system. Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or other lifting devices. Perform and document daily forklift inspections and maintenance checks. Monitor and maintain forklift batteries, including charging, cleaning, and ensuring equipment is returned to the proper charging station.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Operate and assist with other material handling equipment as needed.
Other Experience and Qualifications: Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Preferred: 2 years of high reach forklift experience Basic math skills Ability to understand and follow instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics Ability to work in extreme temperatures: as low as -20F / -25C in cold storage or up to 100F / 37C in dry storage, while wearing company-provided PPE and freezer gear Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. / 18 kgs. (weight requirements may vary by facility) Flexibility to work various schedules and shifts, including weekends, as needed Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, which can occasionally be loud
