Our Garden Distribution division is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Lebanon, OR. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, dependable, and able to perform required functions efficiently while meeting tight schedules and deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform work in accordance with established safety policies and procedures; comply with all work rules, standards, instructions, and requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace and follow required safety procedures; promptly notify the Warehouse Manager of any safety or mechanical issues
• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift, including use of a pallet-flipping apparatus. y
• Load and unload trucks, and stock the warehouse as needed.
• Rotate stock according to FIFO (First In, First Out) to ensure freshness and quality.
• Utilize SAP to print required loading documents and perform related tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with coworkers and demonstrate flexibility in performing a variety of job duties.
• Carry out all responsibilities with good judgment, common sense, and adherence to company safety, quality, and ethics policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse forklift experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related documents and make decisions to resolve in-process issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Willingness to learn and utilize SAP software; prior SAP experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Manual labor required in position, including lifting materials up to 50 lbs.
• Daily use of industrial equipment such as forklifts and other material handling tools.

POSITION INFORMATION

• This position pays $20.00 per hour depending on experience
