Overview Join to apply for the Experienced Flat Glass Installer role at Glass Doctor in Cleveland. This position focuses on high quality and efficient installation of residential and commercial flat glass and related products such as windows, storefronts, mirrors, display cases, and shower doors. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience in the glass industry and strong communication skills with supervisors, colleagues, and customers. You are self-motivated and able to work independently. Responsibilities Install glass, mirrors, and hardware for replacement and new installations Use materials efficiently and maintain adequate stock in the vehicle Quote and sell flat glass products and services to customers Accurately measure and cut flat glass and mirrors to specified dimensions and patterns Complete invoices, collect payments, update status, and enter measurements and notes into a tablet Keep company vehicle and equipment serviced, clean, and in good working order Represent Glass Doctor professionally, aligning with company values Job Requirements Prior experience in the flat glass industry installing insulated glass, storefronts, and/or shower enclosures is a plus Ability to measure accurately using tape measures and levels Physical ability to work with ladders, scaffolding, and related equipment required for glass installation Proficiency with tablet-based technology Excellent communication skills Benefits Company car Competitive salary Health insurance Paid time off A sign-on bonus may be offered for skilled technicians with experience Top pay rates in the industry with starting wages typically between $55,000 and $65,000 annually Continued professional development Welcoming and supportive company culture Company vehicle and paid expenses A consistent and dependable work schedule About Glass Doctor We specialize in all things glass.
