Job Location: Beloit , Wi.

Pay Rate: 60 - 62k yearly

 

Position Summary

The Human Generalist manages various human resources functions, acting as a central point of contact for

employees and management. Key responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding, payroll processing,

compensation and benefits administration, performance management, training and development and ensuring legal

compliance. They handle HR administration, employee relations, and contribute to strategic initiatives, requiring

strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Essential Function

  • 1. Recruit, interview, and hire new employees. Manage the new hire orientation and onboarding process.
  • 2. Facilitate New Employee Orientation, acting as a first point of contact for employees’ onboarding experience.
  • 3. Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and ERP and support data audits.
  • 4. Partner with managers on performance reviews, corrective actions, and compliance.
  • 5. Responsible for accurate and timely weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing of all employees which includes but is not limited to reporting payroll deductions, taxes, and garnishments for all employees as well as governmental and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • 6. Monitor adherence to state and federal labor regulations.
  • 7. Implement performance review systems, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for employee growth.
  • 8. Responsible for setup, maintenance, and continuous improvement of workflow, content, and data tables in the HRIS and ERP systems.
  • 9. Develop and update job descriptions.
  • 10. Create initiatives to improve employee morale and engagement by monitoring the company culture.
  • 11. Administer employee benefits, answer questions about health plans and retirement, and contribute to reward strategy.
  • 12. Assist with performance reviews, create training programs, and implement strategies to enhance employee skills and job satisfaction.
  • 13. Participates in the coordination and administration of all Employee Related Events & functions.
  • 14. Address employees’ concerns, manage grievances, and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
  • 15. Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuing they align with company goals and comply with employment laws.
  • 16. Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program.
  • 17. Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistently with continuous improvement goals and the values of which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality
  • Management and IS0 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
  • 18. All other duties assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Education, Certifications, and Experience

  • Required Preferred Bachelor's degree (BA) in Human Resource Management or Business Management or associate’s degree in similar emphasis is required.
  • Required Preferred 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
  • Required Preferred SPHR / PHR or SHRM - CP / SHRM - SCP designation.

Skills

Required Preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office.
