Program and Position Overview : Were looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist with 35 years of marketing experience who can bring creativity and strategy to our digital content to deepen impact and expand our reach. Were looking for someone whos eager to keep growing, take ownership, and make a tangible impact. Youll focus primarily on strategic content across our digital channelswebsite, social media, email, paid media, and SMS.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Create compelling digital content across social, email, website/blog, SMS, and campaigns
• Manage social media presence and monitoring
• Assist paid media (work closely with contractors or manage campaigns as experience dictates)
• Assist in development of content calendars aligned with organizational goals
• Track performance metrics and provide regular reports
• Stay up to date on social, SEO, and email marketing trends to bring fresh ideas to the team and strengthen marketing strategy

Qualifications

  • Mature Christian faith and agreement with our Global Value to Abide in Christ
  • Knowledge, understanding, and agreement with how the Christian Gospel ministers to the least of these (Matthew 25:40) and guides us in our mission

  • Passion for justice and advocacy on behalf of vulnerable populations.
  
  
  
• Experience & Skills
  • Education: Bachelors degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience:
    
    • 35 years of hands?on experience in social media management and/or email marketing
    • Excellent writing and digital skills with a clean, concise, donor?facing style
    • Basic graphic design experience preferred (Canva or Adobe Suite)
    • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Virtuous, or similar email marketing and social scheduling tools
    • Experience running paid social ads preferred
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics or other basic reporting tools and comfortable using data insights to inform strategy
    • Detail?oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple campaigns at once in a fast?paced environment
    • Strong grasp of SEO, with ability to integrate insights into content planning; continually learns and adapts to new trends
