Overview
We are seeking a trilingual Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our growing, fully digital dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service to patients, and supporting our dental team. An understanding of dental procedures, billing, and insurance claims is preferred.

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar to optimize patient flow.
• Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Handle patient inquiries regarding treatments, insurance, and billing matters.
• Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
• Assist with the management of electronic health records using iDentalSoft (training provided)
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
• Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, including the use of X-ray equipment and 3D scanners when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and administrative space.
• Step in as dental assistant during procedures when necessary

Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese is required.
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, billing, insurance
• Proficiency in using dental software, preferably iDentalSoft, but on the job training will be provided
• Knowledge of medical records management practices and HIPAA compliance standards.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
