Cherry Picker/Reach Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading distribution center specializing in efficient logistics and warehousing solutions, is seeking a dedicated Cherry Picker/Reach Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team. As a Cherry Picker/Reach Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Cherry Picker/Reach Forklift Operator

Location: Covington, GA

Shift: Monday-Thursday 8pm-6:30am

What's the Job?

• Operate Cherry Picker and Reach Truck equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload products.
• Accurately process customer orders using RF technology, including scanning bar codes, picking, labeling, and packing.
• Build pallets by scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders, ensuring proper stacking and stability.
• Assist with inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper loading/unloading procedures to prevent damages.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with SOP and safety standards.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma, GED, or 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience operating MHE including Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance, and Dock Stocker.
• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification in accordance with company guidelines.
• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and work well with others.
