JOB TITLE: ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

POSITION SUMMARY:

Associate Creative Directors must be a creative individual with excellent interpersonal skills. They must be a reliable Team Member that enjoys challenging and fast-paced work. Being motivated and having strong leadership skills is extremely important to successfully fulfill the requirements of this position. The Associate Creative Director takes on a leadership role, assisting in directing the overall creative direction of designers while generating big ideas and implementing training initiatives to strengthen the Creative Team. The Associate Creative Director will work under the direct supervision of the Creative Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Concepting, branding, design and any elements encompassed in the creative realm

· Work in every media (print, social, outdoor, tv/video, etc.)

· Develop creative, innovative, results-driven branding ad tactical campaigns from concept to production

· Managing creative team members and creative/design interns

· Creative presentations (high level presentation skills)

· Assisting in the creative support of digital and social media ad campaigns

· Working with various vendors as needed (photographers, animators, merch/apparel vendors, etc.)

· Crafting stories and building brands through campaign level thinking and execution.

· Work with the current team on brainstorming/development of smart ideas, creative concepts and design solutions relative to content development and execution.

· Creation of production-ready designs and layouts, establish the voice/tone/look/feel for campaigns and executions, and convey ideas through well-designed presentations.

· Ensure all visual design adheres to existing brand guidelines or assist in creating new guides, if required.

· Develop original content across digital, social, video, experiential and co-creation, through to completion.

· Well-versed in social platform best-practices, innovative media and the importance of strategy and analytics.

· Comfortable in working in a cross-platform dynamic, as well as solo.

· Confidence and strong presentation skills.

· Any other duties assigned by the President/Chief Executive Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 8-10 years of Art Direction and/or design experience in a related agency or department (advertising, digital, social media).

· Must possess exemplary leadership skills, and lead the Team by example.

· Art education in advertising design and conceptual thinking is preferred.

· Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within all required aspects of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) as well as presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Google Slides and Keynote.

· Must be self-motivated, hard-working, positive, well-organized, and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables.

· Ongoing drive to understand emerging techniques, trends and philosophies in design, technology, interaction, social media and storytelling through content.

· Previous experience with photoshoots.

· Strong communication and computer skills.

· Foster Teamwork, Positioning, Organization.
